with one last game left tomorrow, the Gunners are one point behind the spurms (love it merv). we're playing wigan at Highbury and west ham will be hosting them scums. to get that 4th spot, we need to get a better result from the other game.
here's the permutations:
we win, they win: bad
we win, they draw: good
we win, they lose: good
we draw, they win: bad
we draw, they draw: bad
we draw, they lose: good
we lose, whatever they do: bad
you guys get it right? so as much as Arsenal needs to get that win for our last game in Highbury, we also need a favour from our london neighbours west ham. even Wenger himself is relying on them. so come on you hammers! hammer them to smithereens!
yet again, Titi Henry's won another award. he's just been named Premiership Player of the Season. i won't be surprised if he's going to win the golden boot award too. afterall, he's still leading the scoring charts with one more game left. my thoughts about it: maybe he thinks the EPL is getting too easy and since he's won every domestic award, he needs a new challenge somewhere. damn... i hope i'm dead wrong about this. anyway, in this piece i just found, Henry says goodbye to Highbury.
today is polling day. it'll be very interesting to see the results tonight. i wonder if there'll be any GRC wins for the opposition. more so, i'm curious to see if a single form will have any effect in the future of Singapore. who knows? jack neo may even do a film on this... for possible movie titles, you may want to consider from a wide selection here. good stuff...
played mahjong with my buddies last night. woke up really late. good thing mrs blog & i don't have to vote. she's got to do some work at home and i have to do this blog... ;)

Eh, I tot you were not going to debate politics?? *heh heh heh heh heh*
[MerV's limited political rant]
OK, for the record, I quoted my bro out of context FOR THE FUN OF IT, it was in context of WEST HAM UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB, NOT any other Hammers (in case got fellas reading this like ELD, ISD, CPIB, CID, FBI, GOD etc. *heh heh*). And btw, both of us don't get to vote in GE2006 and we will NEVER declare our political inclinations online, after all, our vote is secret! (quoted from http://www.elections.gov.sg/secrecy.htm, no less)
PAP, WP, SDA, SDP (yes, even SDP), I wish you all the best, all your efforts to win over Singaporeans are appreciated. MAJULAH SINGAPURA!

Back to soccer: actually Kev, "spurms" are a good thing, where do you think Clarah got her good-looking genes from??
OK, my personal preference of a scenario: that
- SpurMs get to finish 4th
- Ah-Senile (oh no, getting myself into deeper *h**) wins the CL
- Both buay song (or rather, Spurs), get into European Court of Justice to sue each other ... and UEFA
- Both gets kicked out of CL
- Both reinstated into CL after Appeal ...
- Who knows, both plays from 1st round knockout (can you spell "shack Pool"??)
- Both meet in 3rd round, only one of them into the Group stages
*buahahahaahahaha* THAT would be really sweet man. Then, Arsenal and Tottenham Sg Fan Clubs can rent a stadium and watch on giant screen together, woah more fun than at WP rally Glenda Han-Sylvia Lim-Low TK speech man!
Looking forward to seeing your comments on this bro! :D

"Man U's gotta get that 2nd spot man!"
hilarious one merv.
in fact, u gave me an idea. i'll be looking for the noise making plastic hammer for the live game tomr, ala Low TK.
and merv, there's no way in hell we'll share a stadium with them scums, let alone rent one. maybe manUre can pity the spurms and give up your CL spot for them?
hey, manure & spurms. yucks! no wonder i hate them...
neh, not after we've fought hard to grab our 2nd placing. And next season we'll kick the Blues out of their b*lls!
Meanwhile, let's hope you guys work hard on your 16 points yah? :D
