My attempt to look from the other side...

'damn it! trust the spurs to play so well and stay above the arse since december and to fark it all up on the last day!!! we should have gotten the 4th spot easily. i know what it was: it was the food poisoning... no other team can get a result if 10 players are hit with food poisoning. the cook must have been a Gooner. damn arses. now i can throw my barca shirt away...'

that would sound just about right from the spurms fans? hahaha!!!

well, if there was any food poisoning, it's because they're scared shitless of the prospects of playing in the CL. and like i mentioned in Maxim, THEY CHOKED & IMPLODED!!! it's the worse Arsenal has done in the EPL in a very long while but them scum still can't beat us. hey guys, just be glad you're in the UEFA Cup. major improvement from a ninth placing last year...

ok ok. i'm being mean to them. afterall, they played a big part to our glorious night. i've never felt so good to win a fourth spot before. could it be because it was the last game at Highbury? or the fact they Titi Henry scored a hatrick to win the game? or could it be because we pipped our bitter north london neighbours, spurms, to the last CL spot on the very last day? hmmm...

either way, it was indeed a fantastic night for all Gunners and a picture perfect closure to Highbury. if you didn't know it by now, Arsenal won 4-2 and the sp*rs lost 1-2 to the mighty Hammers!!! someone up there loves the Gunners... and he wrote the best script ever!

do you want to know how tense it was? remember my permutations? with only 3 results out of a possible 9 that were only favourable to us? well, the two games had a total of nine goals between them! NINE GOALS! so you can imagine the see-saw ride all of us had to endure. one minute we were leading, then we were trailing, then the scuds scored, then west ham missed a penalty, then we led again... omigosh. if i had food poisoning too, i would have shat right there. haha...

you guys at liz were great. the atmosphere was perfect. the singing was infectious. and i've never seen so many Gooners hugging one west ham guy... some priceless moments captured last night.

and since it's the last game at Highbury, here're some beautiful shots (thanks Al). some more here.

i'm gonna miss the magic of Highbury. and because there weren't any live TV screening of the farewell celebrations, we tried our darnest to watch it through the internet. guys, did you manage to get the feed from ATVO?

by the way, happy totteringham day! in case you wonder what's that, it's the day when it is confirmed the spurms cannot possibly finish higher than the Mighty Gunners. SO HAPPY TOTTERINGHAM DAY!!! you might like to share your blessings here. oh, i think this would nicely sum up how we feel about them. LOVE IT!

Hi ladies & gentlemen! Your beloved Professor is back. Been very busy lately . . . giving lectures at different universities . . . Anyway, I'd like to congratulate the Gunners for making it to the CL. I'm sure that Barca is an entirely porposition altogether . . .still, with Lady Luck smiling on Arsenal . . . who knows . . . U Gunners have my Professorial support(inclusive of the formidable might of my entire intellect) . . . Good luck!

OK, my personal preference of a scenario: that
- SpurMs get to finish 4th
- Ah-Senile (oh no, getting myself into deeper *h**) wins the CL
- Both buay song (or rather, Spurs), get into European Court of Justice to sue each other ... and UEFA
- Both gets kicked out of CL
- Both reinstated into CL after Appeal ...

- Who knows, both plays from 1st round knockout (can you spell "shack Pool"??)
- Both meet in 3rd round, only one of them into the Group stages

*buahahahaahahaha* THAT would be really sweet man. Then, Arsenal and Tottenham Sg Fan Clubs can rent a stadium and watch on giant screen together, woah more fun than at WP rally Glenda Han-Sylvia Lim-Low TK speech man!
(Note: So far, the bro has refuted any gentlemanly suggestion of fellowshipping with any Spurs fans! *heh heh*)

Well, tooooooo bad ... but I'll still root for Arse-neow for CL Finals anyway... only coz I'm

1. English soccer fan (blame it on biased media! *heh heh*)
2. I'm a bit biased towards Real Madrid, though they're all going the way of the dinosaurs... who knows, Henry may become a Galactico, then he'll be crowned a REAL king then! *buahahahahahahahaha*
3. I still love my bro, still wanna watch World Cup with him still in one piece. Though now no more oomph without Wayne Rooney...

but come to think of it, the final Highbury match quite touching... maybe that's why I suddenly got a soft spot for the Guners (hmm, why did I suddenly let off)... but don't even think about getting me the other side, I'm still da Man! *grin*

4eva U da Man!

A little tidbit for Christians: ever wonder why God bless Man U with success? Coz "Red Devil" reminds Him of Rev 12:11:
"...and they overcame (the devil) by the Blood (red colour mah!) of the Lamb (Jesus)..."

OK, that was lame... :D
