The atmosphere at Liz last night was great! Besides the regular songs we sang, a couple of Londoners were there to lead a few new ones. Let's just say from the songs, we Gooners don't have much of a respect for our North London neighbours. Haha... What an awesome evening.
But what cut it for this Singapore Gooner was that Daddy Blog joined us too. I don't know if he sang any of the song but I know he had fun. Oh, our lucky charm, Mervasaurus, came down with Baby Clarah too! It's confirmed... Brother Blog, who claims to be a ManUre fan, is our lucky charm. We need to find a spot at Liz to chain him there for our games.Back to the game. A lot's been said about how the two penalties were mis-calls and that Poll screwed up. Well, he may have done so but I don't really care. Cos even without the two calls, the way the lads played with their hearts, there was no way we were going to lose to the scums. We may not have played well in the end but I'll take any victory against the sp*rs.
I was telling a couple of them that there are two games in a season that there was no way for the Gunners to lose and this is one of them. The other is the reverse fixture at Sh*te Hart Lame.
Well, I'm going to savour this win for a long time to come. Last night, we continued with the celebrations listening to AhTiong's sister, The UnXpected, in between loads of errm... cooling beverages. Somehow, the beverage made me feel light...

walking on clouds today and driving home last night with the biggest grin on my face. what a terrific feel to have beaten the scum again, i believe that's 13 years since they last beat us and we got a measure of revenge from the poor sportsmanship they displayed last year at highbury. ARE YOU WATCHING TOTTENHAM?
but not to take anything away from the performance and the scoreline, i feel that our problems are still not solved. wenger went back to 4-4-2 last night and that definitely helped a lot. the spirit of the boys was huge, freddie gave his all, gilberto was cool and adebayor is trying very hard to prove my sobriquet of him as adebehscore, wrong. (never been more happy to be proved wrong and i hope he proves me wrong many, many times every match he plays for us!)
but before we believe our problems solved, we had only one goal from open play and still taking too long to go on the counterattack. too many lateral and backward passes and i believe we looked good last night partly because the scum were shite, and finally some ref calls went in our favor as opposed to so many against us recently.
there seems to be problems between wenger and henry and i don't know if this is the beginning of the end for henry at arsenal or he will come back from his break, body revitalized, his head screwed back on right and able to play well again.
wenger still refusing to add some experience to the squad and i was pissed off to read that henrik larssen is joining manure on a 3 month loan in january. i rate him highly and believe he could have added some temporary steel to our attack and our squad in general.
porto's next and that's one we need to draw to qualify but need to win to emerge as group champions. COME ON ARSENAL!!
