For the football purists, this game is to see who wins and goes through to the s-finals of the C.Cup (mmmm... they should just call it the Darling Cup - D.Cup).
For psychologists, this game is to see how the two teams will approach this game just three days after playing each other. Will the Gunners go all out and shock the hosts? Will the Reds park the bus and wait for a hole-in-one? Will Gerard lay off for Henry again?See, football can be educational too...
Although Wenger has won the F(A).Cup, he has yet to win the C.Cup. So I have a good sensing that he'll send out a young, hungry team to do the Reds in and get that C.Cup. Rafa will no doubt send out his strongest team to avoid humiliation. Hopefully that will be their downfall cos that defeat will definitely play in their minds.
Either way, this game is all set for an good twist.
Come On You Yellows!!!
Post-game
There are moments in life when you know how to tell a story but there are moments when you are speechless. And this is one of those moments...
The English dictionary has few words to describe how a bunch of youngsters humiliated Liverpool in their own backyard. Yes, I call it a humiliation...
Do not rub your eyes. Do not adjust the screen...
What the senior team could do, the youngsters could do it better! This has got to go down in history as one of the worst defeats at Anfield. And the Gunners could even afford to miss a penalty!
I'm breathless. It's confirmed: Liverpool's our biatch. I hope we meet them in the Champions League soon.
Wenger, you got it right once again.

*applauds Wenger & young team*

5 farts:
Arsenal won 6-3. Is it for real? I missed the show this morning and did not bet either 'cos after an away win last Sat, I didn't want to trust my luck that much on another away game. Wow, this calls for celebration.
I guess if I were at the Grove, it would have been 16-3 right?
:D :D :D :D :D

Enormous lah... takes a whole squad to lift the Cup!! haha..
Oh man, i hv this bloody grin on my face the whole day in the office. Didn't rub it in with Pool supporters in the offc. They just shut their traps and moved away.. hehe.
Seriously, no one including Wenger could hv seen this tidal wave coming the Scousers. Like how we talk abt that nite in '89, this 3-6 scoreline will remain etched in the memories of every single Gooner! GET IN THERE!!!
