Check it: I didn't mention this yesterday cause I didn't want to jinx the team. I was interviewed by Today paper and I gave this quote on the Saturday paper before this game.
Hahaha!!! This is the first time I predicted I would get ill. And with the deadly viral strain of the Arsenal-double-over-Man-U-nitis. GET IN THERE!!!Arsenal has had many kinds of victories: from the old boring one-nils to the more exciting six-threes... But the sweetest kind of victory, for me at least, is when the Gunners come from behind. Especially against ManUre. Sweet...
When ManUre scored first, I saw about 7 guys in the jam-packed Liz punching the air. Mervasaurus was so happy and started singing, alone. I was worried pizzas might fly his way but that lasted for a whole two seconds.
There was no way we could lose at home, right?
Well, Wenger made sure of that. And when v.Persie's shot hit the roof of the net, the whole Liz went crazy! Al jumped me. I jumped some guy and the whole gang joined in.
But that was nothing. Cause when Henry headed the winner in injury time, Liz went euphorically, insanely mad. I don't know if that made any sense but I MEAN LIZ WENT MAD!!! The noise was deafening. Everyone jumped on each other (sounds a bit porno). I even threw the chicken wing that was in my hand in the air...Honestly, I can't remember how Henry scored that goal and we missed the whole celebatory dance jig Henry & Adebayor did cause we were too freaking busy celebrating, singing and celebrating somemore... And then we sang somemore! GET IN THERE!!!
Mervasaurus, you came through for us again...
Now I know what is Arsenal-double-over-Man-U-nitis. It's when you lose your voice, have major bodyaches from jumping people and a totally sleepless night from the euphoric win over ManUre.
