Guest Blogger's Bringing The Girls - Lance

SgGooner: "Hey, guest blog for me this week? Make it juicy..."

Kh: "Okay, can."

SgGooner: "Ya, must steam one hor, cos this week has been hell for me so you must spice it up."

Kh: "Right, I’ll see what I can come up with."

So, while SgGooner’s out today, I shall come out to play. I hope by the end of this post I’ll leave everyone feeling orgasmic better, especially Kev. So let me start by introducing myself...

My name is Lance, but you can call me kh (they are the initials of my Chinese name if you were wondering). I'm 19 this year and currently still a student trapped in one of the ManUre and Liverfool infested schools of Singapore. I suppose I'll do the customary thing and talk to you about how I came to love this club.

No, it wasn't family, but a long lost friend who introduced me to our beloved Arsenal. Enter the year 1997 - I was only Primary 3, and my prior experience with football was watching ManUre play a couple of times on TV and playing football every recess with my classmates (we’d grown out of Power Rangers by then).

One day, my best friend back then, Joshua (whom I've lost contact with by now), told me, "Don’t support Man U. They suck! Support Arsenal!" That was all the encouragement I needed to begin my journey, and I haven't looked back since. I was lucky enough to start watching Arsenal when a certain Mr. Arsene Wenger came in and one of my earliest memories of the Gunners was a demonically quick Marc Overmars tearing away from a flat-footed ManUre defence to score.

I was lucky enough to visit Highbury in the summer of 2005, and some interesting stuff happened when I was in London - for one, I actually saw Victoria Beckham. Yes, she was in her car which stopped next to my tour bus at a traffic light. She was probably going to Harrods, or maybe going off to visit her secret lover while Becks was having fun with Rebecca Loos?

Second of all, after going to Highbury, my sister wanted to visit Stamford Bridge (oh, where did I go wrong?). So I actually went into their superstore carrying this huge Arsenal plastic bag and wearing my Arsenal top. The staff looked horrified. Funnier still, when I was buying a ticket to take the tube back to the hotel, the ticket officer was an Arsenal fan. He saw my top and gave me a thumbs up. Then, he saw my sister's Chel$ki top, and he gave her a thumbs down. Fantastic, eh? Pity he didn't give me a free ticket for the tube... Oh, and on that very same day, I also saw the Mayor of London at near the London Eye.

This is my 10th year supporting the Gunners, and I have no doubt at all that I love this club a lot. I've recently discovered a couple of fairly attractive female friends of mine liking the Gunners as well. Maybe I can bring them down to the Liz one day and no, no touching. See only, no touch.

Wah, I just realised how long this post has become. Juicy enough, SgGooner? Did it steam you guys up?

Let me end off with my friend's analogy of watching Arsenal play on TV:
"Watching Arsenal play is like having good sex. The foreplay is fantastic, but when there is no end product, you feel damn frustrated. But when everything goes right, it feels damn shiok!"

Nice steam. Bring girls to the liz is a good idea if you don't have to pay for their pizza, ice lemon tea, chicken wings, calamari...

As the younger generation like to put it nowadays:
"NO PICTURE, NO TOK HOR!"
