Guest Blogger Almost A Gooner - Lady Roulette

To prove that Arsenal follows you everywhere you go, I met SgGooner at the airport while on my lunch break. I walked past thinking "this is one bloody tall fella (and yes Mr Blog, handsome too...)" and realized it was the one and only SgGooner faithfully guarding the Ferrari Formula One race car on exhibition from over enthusiastic fans.

I dropped by again the next day, once during lunch and once more while doing random price checks on my unsuspecting tenants *cue evil laughter*. So we were having fun talking and (very) suddenly, I was THE guest blogger. I’ve read most of the guest posts, and can now very well relate with the "but I don’t have anything to write!" and the "what did I get myself into?!" sentiment. With the long history of guest bloggers before me, it’s no wonder I couldn’t argue myself out of the deal. Shouldn’t even have tried... I can’t even remember how it happened now.

So anyway, I did a short preview post on Junichi’s blog about myself before. To summarise the contents:

• I am a very young Gooner – young coz I have only been watching Arsenal matches for a few months, and also coz SgGooner says I can call him Uncle SgGooner...
• My given nickname is from a cookie flavour
• I love watching matches at the Liz
• Cesc is cute! And Eduardo and Almunia and Bendtner...
• I LOVE CALAMARI!
  

I'm more commonly known as Lady Roulette on Junichi's blog and most often seen at the Liz with Junichi as well.

Since I think no one knows me by my real name, let's just stick to Lady Roulette. Lady Roulette's earliest memory of football is watching two older cousins play Championship Manager for hours and never really getting bored of peering over their shoulders. I didn't watch my first full football match until the Arsenal Man U game in 2005 (I think) but at that point I was nowhere near being a Gooner.

But yes, now I cheer and clap (and eat wonderful chicken wings), and I'm dying for them to win every match. I love the chants that jeer at the other teams and laugh when everyone spontaneously boo Ashley Cole and groan sometimes when Ade gets the ball. I cannot officially say I'm a Gooner but I think I'm getting there and I do love the Arsenal!

Ok there's a five minute pause between typing each sentence. Enough, Mr Blog? I'm supposed to be sleeping early to catch the sp*rs match, not stay awake cracking my head over your guest blogger post!!
